Dr. Sean Egan

When Dr. Sean Egan was 7 years old, his pet turtle passed away – from that day forward, he wanted to become a veterinarian, and help animals in a way that he wasn’t able to help his turtle. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1994, and began his career learning from experienced vets, and working with many varieties of animals, including exotic birds, emu, buffalo, and cougars!

In March of 2000, Dr. Egan’s dream was fully realized when he opened his own practice, and he has been advocating for your pet’s best interest ever since! Dr Egan continues to further his education by taking specialty courses in reproduction and insemination; PennHIP evaluation; soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

In the rare event we can convince him to take some time for himself, you can probably find him on the golf course, or visiting amusement parks with his wife Darlene, and their two sons, Patrick and Nohl. Dr. Egan met his wife Darlene at the Captiol Theatre in 1988 where she was a relief Manager, and he was running the movie projectors. They were married in 1990 and haven’t looked back since. Dr. Egan’s extended furry family includes two Golden Doodles named Finnegan and Darby and his 2 cats Simon and George.
